What is the GLP2-R used for?

The GLP2-R is used, among others, for:

  • Inspection of connections and grounding points
  • Measurement of contact and transition resistances in cables and connectors
  • Testing of windings, busbars, and metallic connections
  • Production and final testing based on fixed test criteria
  • Type and routine testing in industrial environments

Thanks to its stable measurement setup and short test times, the GLP2-R is highly suitable for serial production.

The GLP2-Basic R can ideally be used in combination with the matrix card to realize virtually unlimited measurement points.

Reliable measurements, every time

The GLP2-R measures using a stabilized test current of 1 or 3 amperes, minimizing measurement influences from cables and contact resistances. In combination with four-wire (Kelvin) measurement technology, even very low resistances are measured reliably.

This prevents discussions about “OK measurements that are technically incorrect” and ensures verifiable quality within your process.

Easy manual operation or fully automated

The GLP2-R can be used:

  • Manually, using test probes or test clamps
  • Automated, as part of a test setup or system integration
  • In combination with fixtures, relay cards, or test cabinets

Thanks to programmable test sequences, the tester can be easily integrated into existing production lines.
