The MPK105R high-current micro-ohmmeter is eand portable, microprocessor-controlled instrument equipped with optimised filters and protections for use in electrical substations. The device enables the measurement with high accuracy of very low contact resistances of high-voltage switches, busbar connections, disconnectors and other components, with test currents from 5 A to 100 A.
Thanks to the 4-wire measuring principle (U/I method), errors caused by measuring cables and transition resistances are completely eliminated. Advanced signal amplification technology without offset guarantees high measurement accuracy and long-term stability. Measured values are displayed on an alphanumeric display with a resolution of up to 4½ digits, where resistances up to 300 mΩ can be measured with a resolution of 0.1 µΩ.
The high-current system is based on modern technology, significantly reducing both weight (about 11 kg) and dimensions. The robust plastic housing is impact-resistant and can withstand harsh environmental conditions. Internal temperature sensors protect critical components from overheating.
The MPK105R is light but very strong, easily transportable by one person and IP65-rated (with the lid closed). This makes the instrument ideal for both laboratory applications and field work, even in harsh weather conditions.
