CIBRE‑L6 serie – 6‑contact Circuit Breaker Timer
The CIBRE-L6 is the professional circuit breaker timer for three-phase circuit breakers — with 6 independent contact inputs you measure all three phases simultaneously in a single run. You perform open, close, and combined switching cycles in accordance with IEC 62271-100 and IEEE C37.09, with a timing accuracy of ±0.05% rdg ± 0.1 ms. The built-in 2.25″ thermal printer and optional Li-ion battery make the CIBRE-L6 fully field-ready: from substation commissioning to periodic inspection, even without mains power.

When to choose CIBRE-L6 over CIBRE-L3?
The CIBRE-L3 has 3 contact inputs and is suitable for single-phase breakers and smaller applications. The CIBRE-L6 has 6 contact inputs and measures all three phases of a three-phase circuit breaker in one run — without re-connecting between phases. This saves measurement time and increases repeatability. For substation and high-voltage work, the L6 is the standard choice.
