In addition, the new controller “ForTest MMI” introduces superior man-machine interaction. With an innovative capacitive touch panel in tempered glass and a 6.2″ colour screen, parameters can be quickly programmed via the numeric keypad in the menus. The new T8990 leak tester is equipped with several ports for optimal connectivity, including USB-slave, RS232, RS485, Can-bus, TTY, Profinet and EtherCAT. In addition, the leak tester offers the possibility of adding an optional Ethernet port and a 26-pin connector with 4 inputs and 8 outputs, which are fully programmable. These ports enable seamless communication with external valves, safety barriers, switches and other equipment.

On the front of the leak tester is a master USB port, which can be used to connect to a USB stick to save tests performed, backup/restore parameters and upgrade the leak tester’s firmware.
