The Dual Absolute T8090
The new Dual Absolute technology makes it possible to eliminate the disadvantages of a classic differential system, improve its advantages and renew an industry that has been stagnant for decades.
Thanks to new Dual Absolute technology, ForTest has combined the simplicity of a classic absolute decay system with the precision and sensitivity of a differential system, bringing leak testing instruments to unprecedented levels.
The new algorithms and measurement equipment eliminate typical measurement errors in a differential system, such as differences in stabilisation between the object under test (DUT) and the reference sample.
The new range of instruments is capable of operating in 3 different ways: Differential, Dual absolute and Central Zero.
The new Dual Absolute technology is so powerful and reliable that ForTest decided to stop developing the classic differential system.
Innovation
The “ForTest MMI” interface brought a superior level of human-machine interaction, thanks to an innovative capacitive tempered glass panel, with a stunning 6.2″ colour display.
Parameter programming is much faster thanks to the new numeric keypad integrated into the menus, and the large display makes viewing the test cycle even clearer.
The main screen also allows interaction with hotkey functions, such as changing the test programme, the “smart” test archive menu and lock/unlock using a password.
Boundless connectivity
The new T8090 devices include ports for USB slave, RS232, RS485, Can-bus, TTY, Profinet and EtherCAT. The leak tester can also include an optional Ethernet port and a 26-pin connector with 4 inputs and 8 outputs, which are fully programmable for interfacing with external valves, safety barriers, switches, etc.
The front panel has a master USB port for connection to a USB stick for storing tests performed, backing up/restoring parameters and upgrading the leak tester’s firmware.
Connecting thermal printers, barcode/datamatrix readers is quick and easy via an internal menu.
Faster and better measurements
The test cycle was further accelerated thanks to the interaction between processor and coprocessor, while maintaining the reliability that has always made ForTest unique.
We can say with certainty that the T8090 uses the most advanced measurement technology in the world, thanks to new technology in windows and the double Faraday cage, which reduces stabilisation time below 18 ms.
This gives a true measurement resolution of 0.1 Pa at 1 bar (0.5 Pa at 6 bar), stable and noise-free.
Optimised pneumatic section
The assembly of the latest generation of solenoid valves has enabled a 30% increase in filling speed compared to the previous model, keeping reliability unchanged over time, making them increasingly reliable and durable
Innovative design
What appears to be a simple design actually hides an extensive study to make the instrument as easy to use and operate as possible.
The front panel is made of tempered glass and aluminium, making it extremely easy to clean. The T8090 is suitable for use in the laboratory and on the production line.
The extensive internal menus are easy to set up and the graphical interface is designed to display only important information during measurements
