Electrical test system combined with leak tester

We are often asked by manufacturers of household appliances and cooling and heating industries for systems that pass both leak tests and the electrical tests. IONIO BV has the ability to combine both test systems in 1 production line.

Leak tester

The first test step is to perform a leak test (or flow test) on the manufactured product.

Data entry for the leak test can be done using a barcode scanner. The barcode, QR or data matrix read in can be linked to the final test data exported from the leak tester as a CSV file via USB to a PC.

Products that are OK after the leak test can then be passed on to the electrical tester.

Electrical safety tester

For the electrical test, the desired data should first be loaded via a barcode scanner. As a first step, the electrical tester checks whether the leak test data is present.

If these data are present, one performs the desired safety and function tests.
At the end of the test and if measured in order, a label/type plate will be printed with the desired data.

The electrical tester collects measurement data from the leak tester and electrical safety tester and places the results and entered data in a CSV file and exports it to a local storage or network folder.

Combination of both testers

In the production environment, you can also create a situation where you run the leak test and electrical test separately in batches.

This is also possible as the electrical tester always checks beforehand whether a CSV file is present. If no measurement data from the leakage test is present, the electrical tester will give a message that the product has not yet undergone a leakage test (or the leakage test was not in order before).

The test sequence in both the leak test and electrical tester can be supplied in various configurations.

Data can be read via a 2D scanner that supports barcode, QR code and data matrix.

Using these two testers will increase the quality and safety of your products. It allows you to detect and resolve any problems before the products are released on the market, reducing the risk of recalls or legal liability.
