TURA 03 SERIE – turns ratio tester
The TURA-03 is designed to accurately measure the turns ratio of both single-phase and three-phase transformers. With its user-friendly interface, the TURA-03 performs fast and precise measurements on current, voltage and power transformers.
With market-leading accuracy, the TURA-03 features a very wide measurement range with a precision of 0.08 %. The device can measure core excitation current, phase angle, polarity, ratio error and magnetic balance.
In addition, the TURA-03 can automatically detect vector groups. The instrument also includes a handy list of connection diagrams for different transformer configurations. The user only has to select the right vector group and the device immediately shows how to connect the cables. Additional manuals or diagrams are therefore unnecessary.
The TURA-03 has a wide range of applications and is suitable for high excitation current transformers and high voltage power transformers in substations, among others. The instrument can generate test voltages of 1 V, 4 V, 10 V, 40 V, 100 V and 250 V AC.
A 7-inch TFT touch display clearly shows all measurement results on one screen. Via USB, Bluetooth (optional) and flash memory, measurements can be easily stored and managed (up to 100 tests). The HighTest Data Management Platform (DMP software) allows users to remotely control the TURA-03 and analyse measurement results. If an immediate paper copy is needed, the TURA-03 also features a built-in 2.28-inch thermal printer.
Multilingual controls and an intuitive menu structure make the TURA-03 easy to use, even for less experienced users. In addition, the TURA-03 can directly control the transformer’s tap changer (up/down via the tap changer outputs). The TURA-03 is light, compact, robust and has an IP67 protection class (when closed case). Besides ratio tests, the TURA-03 can also be used for the Magnetic Balance Test.
