Surgetester MTC2
A deep look into the winding – the ultimate surge tester.
No other tester offers so much performance variety.
The MTC2 – ideal for laboratory, workshop and automation.
Perfectly enhanced with resistance, partial discharge, insulation resistance and high voltage testing.
Reliably test stators, armatures, coils and windings of all kinds.
Keywords: modern, user-friendly, proven technology.
We use a full Windows environment, so we can configure the tester to customer specifications. Data storage and export comprises an important part of the current possibilities thanks to the Windows environment.
Multifunctional measuring device
We can also offer an optional high-voltage AC measurement in the MTC2 Surgetester in addition to Surge, ISO, PI, Resistance measurement.
Surge
We fit a 100 nF capacitor as standard with our MTC2. No manual scaling of the surge graph measure but an automatic determination of correct time base and amplitude.
Insulation resistance measurement
Insulation resistance measurement up to 100 GigaOhm, great advantage is the graphical display of this measurement, for a clear picture of the charge current of the capacitive current and the ratio of the insulation resistance for x-time.
Polarization Index (PI)
Polaristation Index (PI), this measurement will be displayed graphically and thus give an even better representation of the measurement results.
Resistance measurement
With 4-conductor measurement technology (kelvin measurement method) to measure highly accurate resistance values in the milliOhm range.
Portable and easy to move
Our tester weighs around 20-25 kg depending on the options, we offer various options in terms of measuring tables to make it easy to move around the workshop.
As standard, the Surgetester has a 19inch body (4HE) to build it into a 19-inch rack or a caddy version if required.
Measurement results
Various export options, including PDF, CSV and XML.
Software
Our systems come with a Windows 10 version as standard.
