Surge Test
- Test voltage: 500–15,000 V; resolution 1 V; adjustable in 1 V steps; automatic electronic voltage control; setting accuracy ±2% of the set value.
- Repetition rate: 5–10 Hz (depending on the set voltage).
- Surge circuit: 100 nF. Rise time 100–500 ns (IEC 60034-18-41). Max. surge current 800 A @100 nF Energy at 15 kV: 11.25 J @100 nF | 22.5 J @200 nF.
- Logging & measurement: Upeak logging, 125 MS/s, 16-bit; voltage measurement accuracy ±5% up to 50% of Vmax and ±2.5% above 50%. Evaluations: EAR, correlation, tolerance, peak-to-peak, comparison (all 0–100%).
- PD detection: via antenna or capacitive decoupling in the test leads; evaluation according to IEC 61934 and DIN EN 60034-18-41.
Insulation Resistance Test (DC)
- Voltage: 200–15,000 V DC; resolution 0.1 V; step voltage; constant voltage control with undervoltage monitoring; test voltage set approx. 5–10 V above the preset (from no-load to full-load).
- Accuracy: ±0.5% of measured value (up to 15 kV).
- Test current: max. 3 mA (at 15 kV).
- Evaluations: IsoRmin 100 kΩ–500 GΩ; PI and DAR 0.1–5 (PASS if ≥ limit); Imin 1 μA–max. test current for contact check; undervoltage = invalid; current limit monitoring separately for ramp and test time (cancels when exceeded).
- Other: test timer 0–600 s; ramp timer 0–60 s; temperature compensation per IEEE-43; internal discharge resistor 15 MΩ; test ends at <50 V residual voltage; matrix automatically switches windings ↔ frame.
DC High-Voltage Test (hipot)
- Voltage: 200–15,000 V DC; resolution 0.1 V; constant voltage control with undervoltage monitoring; accuracy ±0.5% (up to 15 kV).
- Current measurement: 1 μA – max. test current; resolution 1 μA; accuracy ±2% of measured value. Imax (upper limit) and Imin (contact check) adjustable; undervoltage = invalid.
Resistance Measurement
- Method: 4-wire; test voltage up to 10 V DC; test current 0.5 A or max. 3 A (depending on DUT).
- Ranges & accuracy: 1 mΩ–999 mΩ (res. 1 μΩ, ±0.5%); 1 Ω–999 Ω (res. 1 mΩ, ±0.5%); 1 kΩ–999 kΩ (res. 1 Ω, ±1.5%).
- Stabilization time: 0.3–20 s (automatic); matrix measures between selected windings.
Inductance & Capacitance
- Inductance (internal): 10 μH–500 mH (calibrated up to 25 mH); resolution 0.1 μH; ±5% @50 Hz; measurement frequency 50/60 Hz.
- Capacitance (internal): 1 nF–100 μF; resolution 0.1 nF; ±5% up to 1 μF @4 kHz; >1 μF @50 Hz ±10%; 4-wire at measurement terminals (to frame = 2-wire, lower accuracy).
