The GLP1-g 1040 is a compact safety tester that IONIO offers for rental. The instrument combines three essential test methods in one device: protective earth resistance (PE), insulation resistance (ISO) and high voltage AC test (HV-AC). Specifically configured for testing products according to UL/CSA standards and EN 60335.

When to rent a GLP1-g 1040?

3 integrated test methods

Earth resistance (PE)

• Range: 0–1.2 Ω
• Test current: 1–30 A AC, electronic current source
• Test voltage: max. 12 V
• 4-wire (Kelvin) measurement for maximum accuracy

Insulation resistance (ISO)

• Range: 0–20 GΩ
• Test voltage: 50–1,000 V DC
• Test current: max. 2 mA

High voltage AC test (HV-AC)

• Test voltage: 50–6,000 V AC
• Test current: 0.1–100 mA or burn mode (Ik > 200 mA, 500 VA)
• Electronically stabilised, manually adjustable via rotary encoder or automatic

Connections

The rear panel features a 10-pin industrial connector for connecting a connection box, test cage or custom test setup. Of the 10 pins, 8 are used: PE1, PE1sense, PE2, PE2sense (4-wire measurement), L, N (bridged) and start contact.
