The test cage made of unbreakable, transparent plastic covers the test object and allows optical inspection during the test.
The tests are only possible when the test cage is closed. The open or closed state is continuously monitored by a dual safety limit switch in combination with a safety module. This corresponds to the specifications for mandatory touch protection in the various standards.
Closing the test cage starts the test procedure. Opening the test cage while the test is running stops the test immediately. The voltage is released and the test object is discharged.
A safety lock can be added to prevent opening during the test.
