MD-15KVR — digital insulation resistance tester up to 15 kV

The MD-15KVR is the top model from Megabras and provides safe, reliable and accurate insulation measurements up to 15 TΩ, with 4 pre-selected test voltages: 500 V, 5 kV, 10 kV and 15 kV. Other test voltages from 500 V to 10 kV can be selected in steps of 25 V or 500 V.

The advanced microprocessor provides auto-ranging, PI and DAR calculation, leakage current measurement (1 nA – 1,500 µA), capacitance measurement, step voltage test, ramp function, dielectric discharge, programmable pass-fail test and a real-time clock with chronometer. Up to 16,000 readings are stored for trend analysis and predictive maintenance.

MegaLogg 3 and BlueLogg

The MD-15KVR is supplied with MegaLogg 3 software. The BlueLogg Android app provides wireless control via Bluetooth.

When to choose the MD-5KVR, MD-10KVR or MD-15KVR?

The MD-15KVR is the top model: up to 15 kV, 15 TΩ — for power transformers, high-voltage cables and large rotating machines. For medium voltage installations up to 10 kV, the MD-10KVR suffices. For low voltage applications up to 5 kV, the compact MD-5KVR (4.3 kg) is the best choice. The MD-15KVR is also available for rental.
